White Room
Pushed through the wall
Do I hear myself call
As I rush into rocking,
Not moving at all.
They find me here,
Quiet, alone and in stone,
And crawl away quickly
With this news to their home.
Will they plan an attack?
Will they invade my veins?
Or will they scatter away
With the remains of my brains?
Then there’s a glitch
And I see myself twitch
At the tip of the tongue
The teeth,
The lips.
My heart beat ticks
And talks of twelve.
Sevens and sixes sink into myself.
Spitting “lucky” thirteens
On my family tree
So I can set it on fire,
But instead it burns me.
I’m just another bastard
Learning to crawl
From one world to another
As I’m pushed through the wall.
